Today, I will spend a little bit of time talking about what I have learned from my own experiences and the experiences of others I know who have used a few of these platforms. I chose four platforms that have been used by me or one of our members here at Cyber Ballet: Tweetmonk, Synthesia, Tome, and Speechify.
When I gave Tweetmonk a try, was truly impressed with the user experience. I loved that I could support multiple Twitter accounts from one dashboard. This really helped me, as I was able to manage my professional and business accounts with relative ease.
I also really appreciate the built-in analytics. This really helped since at the same time I was trying out different SEO software’s like Semrush and Ahrefs. The insights on how my tweets are performing, helped me to make corrections and adjust strategy. I also like that Tweetmonk offers advice on tweet timing.
Like with other platforms Tweetmonk offers promotion of your tweet and goes a step further to help promote your most popular tweets first driving your visibility.
Using the inbuilt image editor was a pretty decent experience. I used it to make some last minute changes after creating my image before going into the app which really saved me a time in a rush.
I will say that I was really impressed with the user experience of Tweetmonk. It’s a powerful tool can help improve your Twitter marketing. Overall I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to grow their Twitter following and is looking for an affordable option.
Synthesia
Synthesia is an AI-powered platform that can be used to create realistic synthetic videos. The platform uses deep learning to generate high-quality images and videos of people speaking. Synthesia can be used for a variety of purposes, such as creating training materials, creating marketing videos, and generating educational content. Though the company had a some media troubles from the China’s use of the platform the company has rebounded and has become integrated with other platforms giving their users more options to create their products.
Our use of Synthesia has allowed us to produce media products for our clients in shorter time by using Synthesia as a base to build from leaving little to be created outside of the platform. Using the long list of languages provided in their library has led to some pretty entertaining productions from the media team which has expanded its original parameters to do even more. Synthesia continues to be a great asset for our marketing and service sections helping provide high quality products to our customers.
Tome
Tome was first used by one of our team members, who gave us a presentation on how they used Tome to create the presentation. This led to a few chuckles at the beginning but it quickly changed to intrigue. Tome is a new storytelling tool that promises to produce professional-looking decks in just a few minutes. Being honest before Tome I tried Novel AI briefly but chose to move on because I was looking for a quick easy user experience. Tome surprisingly does just that and helps you become more creative at the same time.
The first thing I noticed about Tome was the modern layout and user flow. Everything is very intuitive and easy to find. I was able to create a new deck in just a few minutes, and I didn’t have to read any instructions. Being that we are a small company every little bit of time spent is greatly valuable to us. Spending hours upon hours evaluating every aspect of a product is costly to our own services.
In addition to the layout, I liked that Tome can automatically generate outlines and slide content based on the information you provide. We all know what a huge time-saver this is, Plus it ensures that your decks are always well-organized and informative.
I began to notice that Tome handles images and videos seamlessly. I was just plugging along while easily embedding videos and images into my decks, and man did they looked great! Tome also has a wide range of content available, so you should not be limited by what you can include in your decks.
Overall, I was very impressed with Tome. It’s a powerful storytelling tool that’s easy to use and produces professional-looking results. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs to create high quality professional presentations, or anyone still using Power Point and their go to.

- Lack of concise bullets that require modification on your part

Speechify
When Speechify first came up as a possible tool we could use at the company we were evaluating it as a possible narrator for our course content. The 120 languages Synthesia supports dwarfs Speechifys 30 but Speechify is not a one trick pony.
I recently started using Speechify as a text-to-speech platform to help me listen to digital briefs whilst working on other tasks. I was surprised at the tone and rhythm of speech it provides. I often caught myself listening and forgetting that it was an AI creating this auditory experience for me. I am truly looking forward to seeing what they bring us in the future. Speechify is also a great resource for people with visual impairments and learning disabilities, such as ADHD. Its natural-sounding voice allows users to comprehend and retain information better when they read along with the AI.
Here are some of the pros and cons of Speechify that I experienced:
Pros:
- Accessibility: Speechify makes it easy for users to access digital content without straining their eyes or struggling to read. This feature is especially useful for individuals with visual impairments or reading difficulties.
- Efficiency: The software can read content at a faster rate than the average reading speed, saving users time. This feature is particularly useful for users who need to go through a lot of content in a short amount of time.
- Multi-Platform: Speechify is available on different platforms, including iOS, Android, and web. This feature allows users to carry Speechify with them as they travel from place to place and find some time to open up the app and continue where they left off.
- Natural Sounding Voices: Speechify’s voices are easy on the ears. This key feature really puts the “this is a great app” stamp on the experience for me.
Cons:
- Limited Voice Options: The software has limited voice options, which may not suit everyone’s preferences. Some users may find the available voices too robotic or unnatural depending on what you are looking for.
- Inaccurate Pronunciation: Sometimes you notice mispronunciations of some words or names, which can be frustrating for users. Thankfully this issue can be addressed by using the software’s pronunciation editor, which allows users to correct mispronunciations leading to a better experience for all.
- Expensive: One of my personal drawbacks of Speechify is that it is expensive. Compared to other text-to-speech software in the market, Speechify is significantly more expensive for the features it offers. This high price may make it less accessible to some people who could really benefit from it.
Overall, I think Speechify is a great tool for individuals with visual impairments or reading difficulties. It makes it easier to access digital content and can save users a lot of time. However, the software is not perfect, and there are a few drawbacks that I’ve noticed.

Among the platforms I have covered here, Tweetmonk stood out with its user-friendly interface, support for multiple Twitter accounts, built-in analytics, and image editing capabilities. It proved to be a powerful tool for enhancing Twitter marketing efforts.

However, the limited voice options and higher cost compared to other text-to-speech software are potential drawbacks to consider.
